Former faculty Nicole Civita and adjunct Michelle Auerbach return to the Masters of the Environment Program at the University of Colorado Boulder for Book Talk and casual Sustainable Food Systems Reunion. Hosted by SFS Specialization Lead Dr. Damien Thompson in conjunction with Fatuma Emmad's Environmental Justice course, this even will share the story of a book that took shape after Civita and Auerbach began collaborating at MENV in 2021. They will read from their book, talk about why we must move beyond sustainability discourses, make the case for shifting paradigms from transactional to relational, and share examples already in practice.
